A high-altitude getaway rooted in the landscape. Raw timber, stone and glass work with the terrain rather than against it; the section is carved into the hillside to reduce the building’s visual mass.

South-facing glazing frames a specific mountain view. Every other window is pulled back to control light and hold heat, and passive strategies cut mechanical load year-round.

A modern farmhouse on working land: steel and glass inserted into an agrarian vocabulary, at barn scale and with generous light. The roofline echoes the surrounding outbuildings while the plan is strictly contemporary.

A second residence on the Glass Farm property, designed for extended family. A shared material palette and an independent program — the two read as a compound from the road.

The smaller footprint called for a tighter section: a lofted sleeping area over a single open living volume, with a covered breezeway to the main house.

A single-family home on a ridge lot. The section steps with the slope to preserve views and minimize cut, keeping the upper floor below the ridge line. The street elevation is deliberately reserved; the view side opens completely.

A ski-season cabin with a compact footprint built around gathering: heavy timber frame, standing-seam roof, south-facing deck. Snow load and thermal performance drove the structure and envelope — the roof sheds away from every entry.
